Sorry I have been missing in action lately and not posting as much as usual, but I have been dealing with a rough first trimester of pregnancy! From bleeding to super low energy, intense carb cravings, pure exhaustion, morning sickness… you know, the works!
Between the first trimester, chasing after my toddler, working my full time job, and keeping up with graduate school… I’m tired ya’ll. So, I’ve been spending lots of my free time in bed and sleeping.
I’ve talked openly about my miscarriages, so that was a concern this time around as well. I’ve had 3 miscarriages and even thought I must have some sort of issues, but every doctor said they were just bad luck and I was fine. That was hard to accept because I really wanted a reason…but here we are with another healthy pregnancy and couldn’t be more excited!
Funny thing is, this pregnancy was unexpected. You know what they say, when you stop trying is when it happens. Maybe that holds true for us. Hopefully this will be an uneventful pregnancy!
Anyway, I definitely plan on continuing to exercise while pregnant (I’ve been cleared) and still plan on eating clean. So be on the lookout for crazy craving recipes (clean versions!) and fitness posts!
