Today was a lot of strength exercises. However, at one point I felt like I pulled a muscle and slowed down a ton. You can tell the difference in pain from when you injure yourself and the pain from a good burn. This was definitely more of an injury type of pain. I must have had poor form for one of the exercises, which I’m sure was the side squat and lift. Once I felt that pain I stopped and stretched it out and rolled on my foam roll. This was about 15 minutes in. I took 5 minutes to check on the pain and then jumped back in.
Because of the pain I was having, I only did the exercises that did not hurt or deal with that muscle and I did them very slowly. I modified even more than the designated person does in the videos. And I honestly just could not do the “bonus” round. So instead of doing that I just did a few more arm exercises of my own and then jumped back in for the cool down.
Listen to your body!! If something doesn’t feel right, stop or modify. You do not want to end up with an injury!

Dinner: Grilled tilapia salad with avocado and salsa (lime & salt as dressing)- 2 green, 2 red, 1 blue
