A lot of women ask me which are the best sports bras for women of all different sizes. That’s always been a hard question for me to answer because depending on your breast size, you’re going to need different levels of support. And, although I wish I could change my breast size as I please, I only have one set of boobs so I’ve only known what works for my size.
So what I did was gathered women with different sizes ranging from A cups to F cups and had them try different sports bras while doing high intensity exercises. We called ourselves the titty committee- classy, right?
We’ve been doing this for awhile, that’s why it took me so long to post this- but I wanted to make sure we really nailed it down and only recommended bras that really work.
Best Sports Bras for Women
A few things that were musts in all of the bras we tried:
- Had to be made of breathable, moisture wicking material and not just plain cotton. This is to help avoid chafing and for overall comfort.
- They had to look good. We all feel our best when we look great and cute workout gear is the perfect motivation to get up and get it done! Plus, we just didn’t want to have you out there looking crazy.
- They couldn’t be itchy. We had a few that seemed great but were itchy and that’s not fun for anyone. The last thing you want to do is spend an hour focused on an itch.
So without further ado… here are our winners!
Best Sports Bras for Smaller Breasts
AA-B cup:
Although you don’t need as much support as the larger busted women, you still need support!
So, no, don’t trust the tank top with a “built in” bra that can chafe your nipples while showing them to the world. You still need protection, comfort and moisture management. Plus you don’t want everyone to see your nipples.
The sports bras that gave our girls the best shape while providing the best support and most comfort were:

Best Sports Bras for C Cup Breasts
Moving Comfort Women’s Fiona Bra
We found that our C cup girls needed more support than the A/B cup girls, but not as much as the D+ cup girls.
This was the hardest one to find the perfect fit for because most either had too much compression or not enough.
BUT, we found one!! It’s the Moving Comfort bra called the Fiona. All three girls loved it!!
It has encapsulation, so each breast is supported. You can buy it in your exact bra size so you’re guaranteed to get a good fit as long as you are aware of your correct bra size. They also mentioned that they never felt “wet” and did not have a bunch of boob sweat collecting in their bra. Plus, it had just the right amount of compression in each girls eyes. All wins!

Best Sports Bras for Larger Breasts
Panache Women’s Non-Wired Sports Bra
D-F cup:
This is the category I fit in to and I have tested a ton of bras over the past couple of years, and there’s no question that one of the best sports bras for women is the Panache sports bra.
It comes with underwire and without, so you can decide which you prefer (I use the one without the underwire).
This thing will seriously keep your breasts in place and you will not feel them move at all when you are jumping around or running.
It comes in actual sizes, so none of that “medium, large” bs that really doesn’t work for bigger breasts. The straps are thick enough to provide the right amount of support without looking too thick and ugly.
Also, not having to put a bra over your head is important when you have bigger breasts because it can be a second workout just trying to get that bad boy off- so this hook closure is ideal.
Oh, and it doesn’t look like your great grandmas bra!
Of course, we didn’t have the budget to test every single bra on the market- so please sound off in the comments with which bra you prefer!
