Let’s be honest, sometimes there is just no time to shower after a workout. Whether you go to the gym on your lunch break, workout with your kids or are just in a time crunch… taking a shower may not always be possible.
And that is a super easy excuse to convince you to skip your workout. But, guess what… it’s not a real excuse! There are work arounds for when you have to skip your post workout shower and a trick that can hold you off until you are finally home and have the time to bathe.
What to Do When There’s No Time to Shower After a Workout
The more you can prevent bad odors while working out, the easier it is to wash up post-workout. This is not 100% possible and you need to sweat. Sweat is good. But so is deodorant.
So, first of all, make sure your deodorant is on point. I personally love Arrid deodorant because it is extra strength, keeps you dry under your arms throughout your entire workout and does not have an extreme smell that will be exaggerated once you start sweating. That last one is crucial, ya’ll. Some deodorants smell amazing in the package, but once you mix that scent with sweat… it’s not so great and it’s also harder to get rid of the smell.
The Key to Deodorizing Without a Shower
Athletic Body Wipes for Cleansing and Deodorizing
But, the key to feeling and smelling fresh when you have no time to shower after a workout is to use a cleansing body wipe made for athletes. Athletes stink after training, that’s just a fact. If you have kids in sports, you know this all too well.
So anything made to cleanse athletes without a shower is grade A stuff.
These body wipes were actually created by athletes, and they’re amazing. Plus, they’re just a few cents per wipe.
After you workout, just head to a bathroom stall and wipe yourself down all over. These wipes are larger than a baby wipe and much thicker (more like a washcloth). It will instantly make you feel fresh and take away the post-exercise stink.
You can also spray some body spray on after this to enhance the smell.
So there you have it.
Super easy and takes no time, right?
As long as you have a good deodorant and some athletic body wipes, you can absolutely workout even if you wont have the time to shower after. And you can still head to work or wherever without worrying about smelling bad!
